Top 5 Productivity Tips (2022)
Have you been feeling kind of unproductive lately? No problem, here are the top five productivity tips you could use.
No. 1: Use your mornings
Have you ever heard about famous CEOs who wake up at 4 a.m. to get work done?
Don't get me wrong, sleep is very important to stay refreshed and productive, but they are certainly onto something. We are the most refreshed after a good night's sleep, so it makes sense that we are pretty productive in the morning.
Try making a productive morning routine and postponing every non-productive thing you do in the morning.
No. 2: Do the hardest things first
Have you ever tried working out? If you have, I'm sure you know how good you feel at the beginning of a workout, but you are really sore at the end.
Just like you feel sore and tired after working out for some time, you become tired and deconcetrated after you work for some time. It makes sense to do the hardest things when you're the most focused and you feel the best, right?
Do the hardest things before the easy things because it'll be easier. Just try it.
No. 3: Leave your phone in the other room
Studies have shown that even just having your phone on your desk while working can deconcentrate you and therefore make you less productive.
We live in a day and age where we are constantly surrounded by technology. Technology can be a gift, and a curse. It's one of the biggest distractions we face today.
It's not that hard, okay? Just leave your phone in another room or at least somewhere where you don't see it. You won't miss anything!
Leave your phone, your biggest distraction, out of your sight!
No. 4: Take breaks
Believe it or not, taking longer breaks is sometimes the most productive thing you can do.
Rest is an essential part of work. There's a reason most people don't work seven days a week. Avoiding stress is one of the best things for being more productivity, but make sure you rest properly.
If your breaks consist of watching TV or scrolling through social media, don't even bother! Your breaks should relax you, not stress you even more or be a distraction.
Here are some suggestions for a nice relaxing break:
- Taking a short walk
- Enjoying a cup of tea
- Reading a book
- Listening to some relaxing music
- Catching up with a friend or a family member
Take regular breaks and do it properly!
No. 5: Make a plan
To be as productive as possible, you have to know what you're doing!
Set some goals and think of some activities you have to do today to get closer to your goals and make a schedule.
